My long waiting for Mac flavor of an easy web driven database application come to the end. I just spotted a really cool apps for Mac (sorry PC’s :p), called ModelBaker. It’s said from their website,

ModelBaker in action {What a coincident their using UGA alma-mater on their showcase, just wondering if one of their creator is UGA alumni?}
” Fast and easy web and iPhone & iPod touch application development. No programmers required. With built in MySQL database support and zero programming required”
After give it a shoot for 30 minutes, it’s truly easy to operate and understand how to build web application for my almost zero programming skill like me. But, yet you still need to haven very basic knowledge on how PHP and MySQL works. Regardless of their Mac styles on interface and user friendliness, this apps also a similar which I found with PHP Runner or PHP maker. The big differences are, they have more complete features and these both application run on Windows. Which I found latter their automatic code generator it’s sooo messy!, it’s difficult for me to follow if I want to tweak it.
If I have to choose, I’m definitely go with ModelMaker, more inconvenient to have some fun building web application, just for my hobby though :p. However since this apps is still young age, I do have some wish-list : (hope not too much)
